The National Toy Train Museum is the Train Collectors Association's museum in Ronks, PA, with toy trains from the 1800s to today and seven operating layouts.

Seven interactive layouts run in G, Standard, O, S, HO and LEGO gauges plus a replica Lionel O gauge display, and visitors push the buttons that set the trains going. The collection spans the 1800s to the present. The museum says you can walk the exhibits in about an hour, and longer if you run the trains, watch the videos and talk with the docents.

Before you go

Ample on-site parking for cars and buses. Everything is on one floor with no steps. Strollers stay outside the museum proper, and no food or drink inside. Many displays sit behind glass, so expect glare in photos.

Coming up

A Halloween-themed O gauge layout with a scavenger hunt runs October 21 to 31, 2026, with an open house on October 22; a turkey scavenger hunt follows through November.
