The Reading Public Museum's Arboretum Education series brings gardeners and plant lovers together for a morning talk led by Master Gardeners, avid horticulturists, and other specialists in the field. This session features the Garden Club of Reading, presented by Tracy McKay.

The Garden Club of Reading has deep roots in Berks County. Club members started the museum's Formal Perennial Garden and continue to help maintain the grounds of the arboretum, along with holding educational programs and taking trips to horticultural sites. McKay, a longtime member who serves as the club's president, has been with the group since 1995.

Arboretum education programs are held in the museum's auditorium unless another location is announced, and the surrounding grounds are worth a walk before or after. Come with your questions, whether you tend a full garden bed or a few pots on a porch.
