Cliff Starkey
November 22, 2026 · 12:00 PM · Doc and Bubba's, 4312 New Holland Rd, Mohnton
About the event
Pianist and vocalist Cliff Starkey brings his keyboard work to Doc and Bubba's for a midday set in Mohnton. A Philadelphia native, Starkey has toured with the Three Degrees, the Temptations, and Pieces of a Dream, and Berks audiences know him best as part of The Groovemasters alongside bassist Bennie Sims and saxophonist Erich Cawalla, a trio that has become a fixture of the local jazz calendar.
The setting suits the music. Doc and Bubba's opened as a full service upscale restaurant and bar created by Jim and Deb Radwanski in the summer of 2022, on a site with a long history as a neighborhood gathering spot along the backroads outside town. The patio stays open through the colder months thanks to heat lamps, with its own bar serving the outdoor seats, so there is room to settle in whichever way you prefer.
Come for lunch, stay for the music, and plan on a relaxed afternoon of jazz and standards close to home.
Hosted by Doc and Bubba's on BerksConnect.
