Gift Card Bingo brings a full afternoon of play to the Goodwill Beneficial Association banquet hall on Madison Avenue. Doors open at noon and the calling begins at 1 p.m., with sixteen games on the card and gift cards as the prizes. Come early, settle in with your daubers, and catch up with neighbors before the first number goes up.
Beyond the main games there are bingo specials, a basket auction, and games of chance, plus food and drinks available on site so you can stay put for the whole run.
The afternoon supports FairView Counseling and the Play Therapy Center, a Berks County nonprofit that provides mental health counseling to children and teens through play, art, and talk therapy. The agency was founded to address the need for child-specific mental health services in the county and uses expressive therapies such as play therapy and art therapy to treat social, behavioral, and emotional concerns in children. Their work covers areas including self-esteem, difficult feelings, grief, anxiety, and problem solving.
