Guided Meditation Session
October 13, 2026 · 5:30 PM · Reading Public Library, 100 N. 5th Street · Free to attend

About the event
Set aside an hour downtown for a guided meditation session at the Reading Public Library, led by the Kula Kamala Foundation. The session is free to attend, and no experience with meditation is needed. An instructor leads the practice from start to finish, so you can simply settle in and follow along.
The Kula Kamala Foundation is a Berks County nonprofit based on Basket Road in Reading. Its mission centers on helping individuals and communities enhance wellness and increase happiness through the education, practice and application of yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, reiki, ayurveda, art, music, and movement. The organization describes itself as an interfaith, inclusive space rooted in universal principles of truth, goodness, service and nonviolence.
The library's central location at 100 N. 5th Street makes this an easy stop after work or school. Comfortable clothing is a good idea, and arriving a few minutes early gives you time to find a spot and get settled before the practice begins.
