The banquet hall at Leesport Farmers Market fills with dozens of holistic and craft vendors for a full day of holiday shopping. The mix is broad by design, with handmade goods, spiritual and wellness offerings, and gift items chosen to suit a wide range of interests and beliefs. Everything takes place indoors, so the weather outside will not shape your plans.
Basket raffles run throughout the day and benefit the Chopper Foundation, a Berks County based nonprofit that provides funding for emergency, life saving veterinary care so families can keep their pets rather than surrender them when a medical crisis hits. Raffle tickets are sold at the door and require cash.
Food and coffee vendors are on hand, which makes it easy to browse at a relaxed pace and take a break partway through. Some vendors accept cards and others take cash only, and there is an ATM in the building.
