About the event

WhenOctober 22, 2026 · 7:00 PM
WhereGoggleWorks, 201 Washington St, Reading

Live music closes out a day of imaginative realism at Thorn Alley Stage, the outdoor stage at GoggleWorks in downtown Reading. Sweaty Money and Beautiful Red Panda, both Reading bands, take the stage for the evening. Sweaty Money works in a mix of punk rock, alt country and indie rock, while Beautiful Red Panda leans toward alternative, punk and psychedelic indie pop.

The show follows the IX Art Show, which fills three floors of GoggleWorks with juried work from artists in the imaginative realism world, where classical painting technique meets mythic worlds, science fiction, surrealism and imagined futures. The main show is open during the day, so there is time to walk the galleries before the music starts. Parking and gallery admission are included with your visit, and arriving early gives you room to explore.

Doors open at 6 PM and music begins at 7 PM. Thorn Alley Kitchen serves a special event menu with food and drinks before and during the show. You do not need to have spent the day at IX to come out for the bands. The performance moves indoors if the weather turns, and seating is limited and first come, first served, so plan to arrive early if you want a seat.
