Junk Journaling
November 18, 2026 · 6:00 PM · Berks County Heritage Center, 1102 Red Bridge Road, Reading · Free; registration required

About the event
Junk journaling is the craft of building a personal book out of recycled and found materials, and this evening gathering at the Berks County Heritage Center gives local makers a place to do it together. The open session format means you can settle in, work at your own pace, and trade ideas with other journalers in the room.
The session covers what a junk journal can be used for and which supplies work well when you are putting one together. A limited supply of art materials is on hand, so bring your own book along with any papers, scraps, or keepsakes you would like to include. If you arrive without a book, journals are available on site.
It is a good fit for beginners curious about the hobby as well as anyone who already keeps a journal and wants company while they work. Space is set aside through advance registration.
