Settle in beneath the planetarium dome for an evening of gentle stretching, slow movement, and mindful breathing. The practice is built around releasing tension and quieting the mind, with a touch of meditation as the simulated night sky moves overhead. It is a calm way to close out a Tuesday evening in Reading.
No prior yoga experience is needed, and the pace is welcoming to beginners and longtime practitioners alike. Participants bring their own mats and water bottles. Expect to leave feeling loosened up and restored.
This class is part of the Reading Public Museum's fall yoga series at the Neag Planetarium, 500 Museum Rd. Should weather force a cancellation, the Museum posts updates on its website and social channels and adds make-up dates to the end of the series.
