Spend a Sunday afternoon inside the working spaces of GoggleWorks in Reading, where the studios on the second and third floors open their doors for a self guided crawl. Wander the hallways, take in the artwork on display outside each studio, and step inside to see what artists are making and how they make it.
There is no set route and no scheduled program, so you can move at whatever pace suits you. Many studio artists plan to be on hand during the afternoon, which makes this a good chance to talk with makers about their process, ask questions, and see works in progress up close.
Bring family or a friend, or come on your own and strike up a conversation. It is an easy, low key way to spend time with the creative community that works in the building year round.
