Doc and Bubba's opens its Sunday with brunch service in Mohnton, running from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The New Holland Road restaurant was started by Debi and Jim Radwanski and their two children, and it pairs a polished dining room with a relaxed, casual feel that suits a slow weekend morning with family or friends.
Live music comes in at noon and plays through 3:00 PM, so later arrivals catch the room at its liveliest while earlier guests can ease into the day before the music starts. The kitchen keeps going until 7:00 PM and the bar stays open until 8:00 PM, which leaves plenty of room to linger over coffee, move on to lunch, or settle in at one of the high tops.
The spot is known around Berks for its live music and its covered patio seating alongside the indoor dining room. Reservations are a good idea on weekends, since Sundays here tend to fill up.
