West Reading Borough Hall is closed on Thursday, November 26 in observance of Thanksgiving, with the closure continuing on Friday, November 27. Administrative offices will be unavailable those days, so residents with routine borough business are encouraged to take care of it beforehand or wait until offices reopen.

Coverage continues for urgent situations. If you need police assistance or have a sewer backup during the holiday, call the after-hours non-emergency number at 610-373-0111. A dispatcher will take your information and have borough personnel reach out to you.

For neighbors, this is simply a quiet stretch on the borough calendar: a long weekend to spend with family, host visitors, or take a walk through town before the holiday season picks up.
