Oley Township has set its trick-or-treat night for Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The township's Fall 2026 newsletter states it plainly: "Halloween Trick-or-Treat for Oley Township has been set for Saturday, October 31st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m."
Main Street in the village of Oley closes to traffic from 6:00 to 8:30 PM between Friedensburg Road and Jefferson Street so kids can cross freely, and parking is not allowed on that stretch from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. Houses along Main Street draw the biggest crowds, with the farm lanes and side roads around the valley taking part house by house; a porch light on means a house is handing out candy.
Bring a flashlight or something reflective for darker costumes, keep an eye on the clock, and wrap up by 8:00 PM. The township also hosts the Oley Halloween Parade on Main Street two weeks earlier, on Saturday, October 17. Questions can go to the township office on Memorial Drive.
