Yoga on the Mountain
October 25, 2026 · 9:00 AM · Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, 1700 Hawk Mountain Rd, Kempton · All levels welcome, no yoga experience necessary; limited to 15 participants per session
Also on Sun, Sep 27.

About the event
Start your Sunday morning with a guided yoga session at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, where the sanctuary is teaming up with local studio YOGA-B-YOGA for a practice framed by one of the most striking views in Berks County. The class is built around clearing your head and tuning in to the surrounding landscape, and it takes place in a temperature controlled indoor space, so autumn weather on the ridge will not change the plan.
All levels are welcome and no previous yoga experience is needed, which makes this a comfortable first class for newcomers as well as a change of scenery for regular practitioners. Bring your own mat and give yourself extra time to reach the mountain, park, and settle in before the session begins. Space is capped at 15 participants, so the group stays small.
Hawk Mountain sits along the Kittatinny Ridge in Kempton and is known worldwide as a refuge for birds of prey, with October bringing the greatest diversity of hawks and fall color reaching its peak late in the month. If you have time afterward, the trails, visitor center, and native plant garden are all right there.
