PA CareerLink Job Search Website for Berks County Job Seekers
PA CareerLink Berks County points job seekers in the county to pacareerlink.pa.gov, Pennsylvania's job search website, which is free to employers and job seekers. It is for anyone who is unemployed and looking for work, working and looking for a better job, or wanting to upgrade their skills to get that next job.
New job postings appear daily. When you create an account and enter your education, work history and similar details, the system creates a resume for you. You can upload a different resume, but everyone should create a resume on the system, because it is the system-generated resume that employers see when they search for talent to match their job openings.
To learn more about how PA CareerLink works for you, the office invites job seekers to come to its Welcome Orientation, which is held in person; the events calendar has up to date days and times.
The office is at 1920 Kutztown Road, Suite F, Reading, PA 19604. The Job Seekers phone is (610) 988-1300, and relay service users dial 711. Public office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm, and Wednesday 10:00am to 4:30pm. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities, and language assistance services are available free of cost. For emergency closings, check WFMZ StormCenter closings at wfmz.com/weather/stormcenter.
Most services here are provided at no cost because many are federally funded, and eligibility requirements apply for some programs.
