Welcome Orientation for Job Seekers at PA CareerLink Berks County
PA CareerLink Berks County holds a Welcome Orientation that walks you through the job search services offered in its Reading office and through its partners in the community. The office has grouped its services so you can choose the path that best meets your needs, and you may choose to have your information shared with partner agencies that provide services that interest you. Attending is a must, because without it you will miss hearing about the variety of services offered.
The orientation is also the step you complete first if you want Comprehensive Career Services, where you work more in depth with a staff member to develop your employment plan and outline your path to your next job. It is the place to learn more about how the state job search website, pacareerlink.pa.gov, works for you.

The office is at 1920 Kutztown Road, Suite F, Reading, PA 19604. The job seekers phone is (610) 988-1300, and the general email is info@careerlinkberks.com. Public office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and Wednesday from 10:00am to 4:30pm. For relay services, dial 711. While you are in the building, the Resource Room is a self-service center open to the public with internet-accessible computers, job search and career materials, a free fax machine and a copier at 5 cents a page; it is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
