About the program
This is independent work time in the darkroom and photography studio at GoggleWorks in Reading. Sessions run Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and access is sold by the month. Bring your own projects and use the time to develop black and white film, make black and white prints, or work with cyanotypes and solar fast dyeing.
The studio is set up for adults at an intermediate or advanced level. You may use the studio equipment and the house chemistry during open studio hours, and you supply your own paper and film. A studio monitor is present to keep an eye on the space and help with equipment questions. Juliana Delgado leads the studio, and Spanish speaking support is available.
There is a prerequisite: you need to have finished a multi-week intro class at GoggleWorks, or have comparable experience approved by the studio manager.
