2026 Fine Metals Open Studio
In progress since Jan 1, through Dec 31 · $85.00

About the program
Fine Metals Open Studio gives metalsmiths independent access to the Metalsmithing Studio at GoggleWorks. You work on your own projects at your own pace, using the studio space and equipment. A studio monitor is present to keep an eye on things and help with the equipment.
This is set up for intermediate and advanced adult makers, so there is a prerequisite. You need to have finished a multi-week intro class at GoggleWorks, or have comparable experience approved by the studio manager. To ask about equivalent experience, email Justin George at jgeorge@goggleworks.org. Access is sold by the month, and open studio sessions run on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays through the year.
Bring your own project plans and ideas, along with any materials you want to use. When you sign up for your first month, register for the orientation as well. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page at 201 Washington St in Reading. Registration closes five business days before a session begins.
