2026 Flameworking Open Studio
In progress since Jan 1, through Dec 31 · $120.00

About the program
Flameworking Open Studio at GoggleWorks gives experienced glass artists independent time in the Flameworking Studio to work on their own projects. Access runs by the month, and sessions are available on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays through the year. A studio monitor is present for oversight and help with equipment.
The studio supplies torches, oxygen, gas and kiln use. You bring your own tools and buy your own glass. Stocked tool kits can be added during registration, and they include small shears, a large hemostat, a flat crimp, small and large tweezers, and glasses. Anyone who takes a kit agrees to cover the cost of replacing damaged tools.
This is for adults at an intermediate or advanced level. You must have completed a multi-week intro class at GoggleWorks or have comparable experience approved by the studio manager, Nikki Vitchner, who can be reached at nvitchner@goggleworks.org. Register through the GoggleWorks class page, and sign up for orientation along with your first month. The studio is at 201 Washington St in Reading.
