About the workshop
In this one day workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, you weave two holiday gift baskets from flat reed. Dyed reed accents and decorative tie-ons add color and a festive finish. The baskets are sized for filling with homemade treats or small gifts for family and friends.
The session runs on a Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM and meets in the Textiles Studio, room 316, on the third floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington Street in Reading. It is open to all skill levels, so no weaving experience is needed. Susan Dirsa leads the class. Teens age 14 and up and adults are welcome, and students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian.
Register through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Scholarships are available, and the class page also lists the withdrawal and refund policies.
