Blind Embossing Workshop: Session B

About the workshop
In this one evening workshop you carve your own relief block, then print with it. Blind embossing uses pressure alone to press a raised, ink free image into paper. You can also add ink if you want stronger contrast. You go home with the block you carved and the prints you pull from it.
The session runs on a Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM and meets in the Printmaking Studio, room 201, on the second floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington St in Reading. It is open to all skill levels, so no printmaking experience is needed. Anna Schweigert leads the class.
Ages 14 and up may register. GoggleWorks asks for written permission for students under 18 enrolled in adult courses, and staff will send the form by email. Registration closes five business days before the class begins, and sign up is on the GoggleWorks class page. Scholarships are available through GoggleWorks.
