Bowl Turning: Session C
Starts Thu, Nov 19, 6:00 PM · Member: $72.25 / Non-Member: $85.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
This single evening workshop at GoggleWorks introduces the basics of turning wood bowls. You work at a wood lathe, learn how to handle turning tools properly, and practice safe, efficient technique as a raw piece of wood becomes a finished bowl. The session is built for all levels, so beginners are welcome alongside people who want more time on the lathe.
The class meets on a Thursday evening from 6 PM to 9 PM in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor of GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. It is open to ages 16 and up, and the instructor is Mike Kuterbach. Closed-toe shoes are required. Check the registration page for supply details before you arrive.
Sign up online through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the class begins, so plan ahead. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, which GoggleWorks arranges by email.
