About the workshop
Carve a Santa is a one session woodcarving workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading. You carve a traditional Santa ornament with guided instruction that covers carving technique, adding detail, and finishing the piece. It is open to all skill levels, including people new to carving and anyone curious about folk art traditions. Instructor Jim Farnsworth leads the session.
The workshop meets on Saturday, November 14, from 2 PM to 6 PM, and it runs in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor at 201 Washington St. Closed toe shoes are required. A materials fee is paid at the time of registration, in addition to the class cost.
