Creative Kids Simple Apron Creations Sewing Workshop
Starts Sun, Nov 8, 1:00 PM · Member: $63.75 / Non-Member: $75.00 · Ages 9 to 12

About the workshop
Children learn the basics of sewing in this hands-on workshop at GoggleWorks. Students practice using a sewing machine, read simple patterns, and make a small apron to take home while building confidence with a new craft. It is open to all skill levels, so no sewing experience is needed.
The class meets on a Sunday afternoon in the Textiles Studio, room 316, on the third floor of GoggleWorks. Instruction is led by Paola Mateo and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Students should be able to follow instructions and ask questions so they can work safely and finish their apron.
Registration is handled online through the GoggleWorks class page, and registration closes five business days before the class begins. Scholarships are available through GoggleWorks. If there is anything that would help a student have a good experience, families can add a note when they register.
