About the workshop
In this one evening workshop at GoggleWorks in Reading, you make your own fused glass bubble tray. You cut glass, pick a design, and assemble your piece, then leave it with the studio to be fused in the kiln. The instructor, Lauren Reinhart, walks the group through glass cutting, studio safety practices, and how the fusing process works.
The workshop is open to all skill levels, so no prior glass experience is needed. It meets in the Fusing Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus. Closed-toe shoes are required. If you are not sure where to go when you arrive, staff at the front desk can point you to the right building.
Sign up through the workshop page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Students under 18 who join an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, which GoggleWorks provides by email before class. Refund and cancellation terms are posted with the provider's registration policies.
