Glassblown Pumpkin: Session E
Starts Sat, Nov 7, 1:00 PM · Member: $83.30 / Non-Member: $98.00

About the workshop
This single session workshop at GoggleWorks introduces you to working with hot glass. You gather molten glass from the furnace, add color, and shape it into a pumpkin with guidance from studio artists. The result is a glass pumpkin you take home as a fall centerpiece.
The workshop is open to all skill levels, so no prior glass experience is needed. It is listed for adults, and students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission from GoggleWorks in advance. Closed-toe shoes are required, and anyone with long hair should bring a hair tie.
The session runs on a Saturday from 1 PM to 3 PM and meets in the Glassblowing Studio, Building 5, on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington St in Reading. Staff at the front desk can point you to the right building when you arrive. Register through the class page on the GoggleWorks site. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Groups of four or more can also ask GoggleWorks about booking a private glassblowing workshop.
