About the workshop
This one day woodturning workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts focuses on making hollow form vases. You work at the lathe and practice the techniques used to shape and hollow these pieces, with time to try out your own ideas for form and finish. The instructor is Scott Wishart.
The workshop is built for adults at an intermediate skill level, so some prior turning experience helps. It meets on a Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. Wear closed toe shoes. A materials fee is paid when you register, separate from the class cost.
