In this woodworking class at GoggleWorks, you make a small river charcuterie board by joining natural edge wood slabs with an epoxy resin pour. The finished piece looks like a river runs through the wood.
The class meets over two Monday evening sessions. In the first session you prepare the slabs and build the mold for the pour. You return the following week, after the resin has cured, to sand and shape the board and take it home. The class is open to all skill levels and is set up for adults.
Work takes place in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor at 201 Washington St in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required. A materials fee is paid at the time of registration, and GoggleWorks asks that students sign up several business days before the start date.
