Implosion Pendant: Session B
Starts Sat, Nov 14, 1:00 PM · Member: $72.25 / Non-Member: $85.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
This single session workshop at GoggleWorks introduces working with borosilicate glass at the torch. Over three hours you apply color to a clear glass rod to shape an implosion pendant, then take your finished piece home to string as a necklace or give as a gift. It is open to all skill levels, so no prior glass experience is needed.
The workshop meets on a Saturday afternoon, 1 PM to 4 PM, in the Flameworking Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Tanner Sweeney leads the session. It is set for ages 16 and up, and written permission is required for students under 18 enrolled in adult courses.
Wear closed-toe shoes and natural fabrics such as cotton, and tie back long hair before entering the studio. Register online at goggleworks.org. Registration closes five business days before the class begins, and GoggleWorks asks that you note anything that would help them support your experience when you sign up.
