This intermediate warm glass class builds on what you already know about fusing. You work with thicker pieces and explore the line between control and movement in the kiln. Projects include pot melts, color bars, and on edge assembly, with an emphasis on a range of cold working applications. Lauren Reinhart teaches.
The class meets Sunday mornings in the Fusing Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus in Reading. Intro to Fusing or equivalent experience is required before you enroll. Closed-toe shoes are required in the studio. This is an adult course, and students under 18 need written permission from GoggleWorks before the class begins.
Register through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the class starts so the instructor can prepare. If you are not sure where to go when you arrive, the front desk can point you to the right studio.
