Intermediate Painting: Animal Portraits
Thu, Nov 12 to Thu, Dec 17 · Member: $204.00 / Non-Member: $240.00 · Ages 14 and up

About the class
Bring photos of animals you love and learn to turn them into painted portraits. The class works in water media, including gouache and watercolor, along with mixed media such as pencils, chalks and artist-grade crayons. It is set at an intermediate level, so some painting or drawing experience helps. Zoungy Kligge leads the sessions.
The group meets Thursdays from 6 PM to 9 PM for five sessions, running November 12 through December 17, with no class on November 26. Classes are held in the Drawing and Painting Classroom, room 318, on the third floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Bring your own reference photos. Supplies can be bought at the Art Supply Store on the first floor.
Ages 14 and up may take part. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission, which GoggleWorks provides by email. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and scholarships are available. Sign up on the class page at goggleworks.org.
