Mini-Makers Pinch Pot Turkey Clay Workshop
Starts Sun, Nov 1, 1:00 PM · Member: $44.20 / Non-Member: $52.00 · Ages 7 to 12

About the workshop
Children and their grown-ups work side by side to build a pinch pot turkey out of clay. In this family workshop with instructor Karen Adam, you learn basic pinch pot and handbuilding techniques, then add colorful feathers and festive details to make a seasonal decoration for the fall. The workshop is open to all skill levels, so no clay experience is needed.
An adult must take part alongside the child, and each adult and child attending needs their own registration. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Ceramics take a few weeks to finish, so pieces are not ready to take home the same day. The GoggleWorks Programs team will email you when your turkey is ready for pickup.
The workshop meets on a Sunday afternoon in the Ceramics Auxiliary Classroom 301, on the third floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page.
