Pen Turning: Session B
Starts Wed, Dec 9, 6:00 PM · Member: $72.25 / Non-Member: $85.00 · Ages 14 and up

About the workshop
This single evening workshop at GoggleWorks introduces woodturning on the lathe, with each participant shaping a working pen. Instructor Mike Keiser covers the basic tools, the turning techniques, and the safety practices that go with them. It is open to all skill levels, so people new to woodworking and those adding to what they already know can both take part.
The class meets in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor of the GoggleWorks campus. Closed-toe shoes are required. If you are not sure where to go when you arrive, staff at the front desk can point you to the studio.
Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page for this session. Registration closes five business days before the start date so the instructor can prepare. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, and GoggleWorks provides the form by email before the class date. Scholarship information is available on the GoggleWorks website.
