About the workshop
This single session workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts introduces the plasma cutter and the ways it can be used. You learn how to work with the tool safely, then put that practice to use by welding your cut pieces together into a design of your own. You take the finished piece home to display.
The workshop is open to adults at all skill levels and is led by instructor Brian Glaze. It meets in the Welding Studio, Building 4, on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Wear flame resistant clothing, long pants and heavy closed toe shoes, which are required to take part.
The session runs on a Saturday, with a date listed for November 7. Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and a waitlist is available if the workshop fills.
