Winter Soundbath at Nolde Forest
Starts Sun, Dec 13, 4:00 PM · $35

About the class
Settle into winter with a Sunday sound immersion in McConnell Hall at Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center. Guest instructor Jen Who Plays The Gong leads the session with soothing sounds from instruments such as gentle gong, singing bowls, chimes, handpan and ocean drum. The idea is simple: lie back, let the sound carry you, and invite stillness and rest during the quiet season.
To prepare, bring a thick mat or comforter to pad the floor and a bolster or pillow to place under your knees to ease strain on your lower back. An eye pillow, scarf or mask helps block visual distractions so you can turn your focus inward. Before things begin, take a moment to set a personal intention, such as releasing stress, finding clarity or simply allowing yourself to be present.
Registration is required for everyone attending and space is limited, so sign up ahead of time through the event page. Walk-up participants cannot be accepted. The program is a fundraiser for the Friends of Nolde Forest.
