Fun with Glass Jewelry
Starts Tue, Oct 6 · $60 ($50 members) · Ages 13 and up

About the class
Make your own glass cabochons and turn them into wearable art. Students learn several techniques for building small glass pieces, explore different types of glass including eye catching dichroic glass, and find out how to layer, design and prepare their work for kiln firing.
Each student creates and takes home three to four unique pieces, ready to become earrings or pendants. No experience is needed, and all materials are included.
The class meets Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:30 at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education in West Lawn, and is open to ages 13 and up. Sign up through the Yocum Institute's class registration page.
