What Wedding Flowers Cost in Berks County
What wedding flowers cost in Berks County, piece by piece, from the florists that print prices: bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and the arch, plus minimums, lead times and how couples bring the number down.

You just opened your first florist quote and the number is bigger than you expected. So let's start with what Berks florists list on their websites. A bridal bouquet runs from about $80 to over $700 at the two Berks shops that print a piece-by-piece wedding price list, Collene's Crafts-N-Flowers in Kutztown and Events by Kelly's Florist in Leesport, as of 2026. A boutonniere (the small flower pinned to a lapel) runs $15 to $49. A bridesmaid bouquet is $65 to $85 at Events by Kelly's Florist in Leesport.
Across the country, couples who married in 2025 spent about $2,800 on average on their flowers, and the median was $1,900. Anything elaborate, an arch or a flower cloud, carries a higher price tag. Start your shortlist on the county florists page.
How much do wedding flowers cost in Berks County?
Nationally, that $2,800 covers the bouquet, the boutonnieres, the wedding party's flowers and the centerpieces together. At that figure, a florist says, you get personal flowers, a very simple statement piece for the ceremony and simple centerpieces. A quarter of couples spent under $900 and a quarter spent over $4,800, and the spread follows the guest list: about $1,600 for up to 50 guests, $2,400 for 51 to 100, and $3,300 for more than 100. How the flower bill compares to the venue, the food and the rest is its own post, what a Berks wedding costs, vendor by vendor.
So what does that look like in Berks? Two florists print a piece-by-piece wedding price list, in two different ways. Events by Kelly's Florist in Leesport works by appointment and lists an a-la-carte menu, which means you pick pieces from a price list and pick them up at the studio instead of a full-service order, where the florist designs, delivers and sets up for a quoted price. The menu is built for intimate weddings, micro-celebrations and elopements, and a classic hand-tied bridal bouquet starts at $275.
Collene's Crafts-N-Flowers in Kutztown runs an online catalog you can order from. It lists 25 bridal and hand-tied bouquets from $79.95 to $737.95, and most of them sit between about $100 and $300.
A full-service wedding, whatever the guest count, is a custom quote at the Leesport studio; the printed lists price the personal flowers (the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages people carry or wear), the small pieces and, at Leesport, the arch sprays. A small order follows the list: fill out the Leesport studio's a-la-carte form, meet the team and pick up at the studio on a set date, or order from the Kutztown catalog online. Here's what each shop lists, piece by piece, one shop at a time.

As each florist prints it in October 2026. The Leesport list is for intimate weddings, micro-celebrations and elopements, with full-service weddings quoted; the Kutztown figures are the shop's online catalog prices.
The price follows the size of each piece. Count your own pieces against the rows and you've got a floor before anyone quotes you.
Do florists have wedding minimums?
Berks florists quote the whole wedding after a consultation rather than start from a minimum spend, and Stein's Flowers in Shillington and Farmhouse Flowers in Kutztown both offer a free consultation. That meeting is where your guest count and your budget come in. Stein's will coordinate your flowers to match any color, style and budget, and Farmhouse works with your vision and your budget.
The Leesport a-la-carte menu says no minimums outright. Some florists elsewhere do set one, and one national online florist's minimum is $1,750.
Which pieces move the number most?
The arch, or arbor, is the frame you stand under at the ceremony, decorated with sprays of flowers, and each spray is one arrangement for the frame. At Events by Kelly's a single spray starts at $275 and a full arbor takes three to five of them, so three sprays come to at least $825 and five to at least $1,375, picked up at the studio. One florist's rule is that a simple arbor piece can start at a few hundred dollars and climb to several thousand depending on how much of the frame gets covered and how many flowers you want against foliage.
What else pushes a quote up? More blooms against greenery, fresh over dried, more and bigger arrangements as the guest count grows, out-of-season flowers shipped in, the florist's labor to prep, deliver and install, and a venue that's far away or hard to reach.
How Berks couples bring the flower bill down.
Start by asking what's in season and letting the florist buy local. The Leesport studio uses seasonal, American grown and local blooms as much as possible and grows some of its own. The Rustic Bunch, a husband-and-wife flower farm in Fleetwood, grows its own, delivers within Berks County and stays seasonal from April through October.
After that, the levers are ones every florist will recognize.
- Use more greenery and fewer flower-heavy pieces. The greenery fills the same space for less per stem.
- Reuse the ceremony flowers at the reception. The altar arrangements move to the head table or the cocktail area, and a florist plans the move from the first meeting if you ask.
- Pick up a-la-carte pieces yourself for a small wedding. There's no delivery or setup charge on an order you carry out the door. What you carry out yourself still has to be set up at the venue, so ask the florist how the arch sprays go on the frame.
- Ask whether the venue's package already includes centerpieces or personal flowers, so you don't pay for them twice.
How to read a florist's quote.
A florist's quote lists each item or item type with a price, a line total, taxes, and any delivery, setup or breakdown fee. Delivery and setup should be their own line on the quote; nationally that line can add about $200 to $500 per vendor, and the Kutztown catalog's delivery fee is about $10, varying by location and distance.
Then there's what happens when a flower doesn't show up. Farmhouse Flowers' policy says substitutions may occasionally be necessary because of availability, using flowers and containers of equal or greater value, and that's the line you want in writing. Before you sign, ask three things: what happens if a flower isn't available, when the final count is due, and whether the deposit holds the date and comes back if you cancel. A question about your own contract goes to a lawyer, and our guide to finding a lawyer in Berks County shows you how to find one.
Questions couples ask about wedding flowers in Berks County.
What does a bridal bouquet cost?
Nationally a bridal bouquet averages about $160, and most run $100 to $350. With mid-tier flowers through a florist, a bridesmaid bouquet runs $55 to $75 and a centerpiece $70 to $85, and in Philadelphia one florist says bridal bouquets average $225 to $275. In Berks the two printed lists run from about $80 to over $700 for a bridal bouquet.
Is it cheaper to make the bouquets yourself?
The materials run about half of a florist's price when you buy bulk flowers and build them yourself. What you're trading for that half is the design, and you spend the morning of the wedding assembling them.
Does the time of year change the price?
A little. Couples marrying January through March spent $2,900, April through June $2,900, July through September $2,800 and October through December $2,700, so the swing is about $200. The bigger seasonal lever is the flowers themselves: out-of-season blooms get shipped in and cost more, while a Fleetwood farm like The Rustic Bunch grows seasonal stems from April through October.
Build the flower budget and book the florist.
Timing first, because you can't negotiate the calendar. Stein's Flowers asks for at least six months' notice for a larger wedding and three for a smaller one, and says wedding flowers are typically ordered six to twelve months ahead, especially for popular dates. The Rustic Bunch is generally booking twelve to eighteen months ahead, takes a limited number of events each weekend and still has 2027 dates open, so if your wedding is less than a year out, call this week to ask whether they can still take it.
For the calendar, our month-by-month Berks wedding planning timeline puts the florist at nine months out, inside the shops' window and short of the farm's twelve to eighteen. If you're already inside nine months, a small order still has time, since Stein's asks three months for a smaller wedding.
Now the budget. Count the pieces: one bridal bouquet, the bridesmaid bouquets, the boutonnieres, the corsages, a centerpiece per table, and the arch. Price that count against the two printed lists above, decide on the one statement piece you'll spend on, and take the list to a free consultation. For where that number sits in the whole day, what a Berks wedding costs, vendor by vendor breaks it down.
Pick two or three florists from the county florists page and book the consultations this week. If you haven't locked the venue yet, start with event venues in Berks County so the florist knows where the arch is going.
