A rehearsal dinner room runs from a $200 minimum at a restaurant to $900 and up for an event space by the day, or it comes with the menu at about $35 a person. More are on our page of event venues in Berks County.

Where can you hold a wedding for fewer than fifty guests in Berks County?
There are four kinds of room: an inn with a package, an event space you fill yourself, a winery for the ceremony, and the small room at a bigger venue. Two of the inns print a package with a price, and two call a wedding of a few dozen guests a micro wedding. The Inn at Centre Park in Reading gives you the entire first floor of the mansion for an intimate wedding of around 40.
The South Mountain Inn in Wernersville prints a micro wedding for up to 40 guests and an elopement package, an elopement being the couple and up to four witnesses.
Bally Spring Inn in Barto runs its micro format for 25 to 49 guests; the price comes with the venue's proposal. Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood sizes its ballroom for up to 80.
Veñu On The Boulevard in Reading, in Muhlenberg Township, is an event space for up to 75 that names micro weddings and rehearsal dinners.
The wineries host the ceremony: Setter Ridge Vineyards in Kutztown hosts outdoor ceremonies, $1,000 for up to 50 guests, and after business hours a private dinner for 35 indoors or 100 on the patio with your own caterer, though it does not host wedding receptions, and a private dinner with speeches, dancing or amplified music is charged a $1,000 reception fee; Ridgewood Winery in Birdsboro does a ceremony on its grounds and rents indoor rooms of about 18 seated each.
The bigger venues keep a small room too. Folino Estate in Kutztown has a Pinot Grigio Room for 60 and sets no guest minimum, only a food and beverage minimum, the least you must spend on food and drink to hold the room; the amount depends on the date. The county's barns and estates take 100 to 300 guests, and what a wedding venue costs in Berks County covers them; the county parks rent pavilions and the Gring's Mill barn online, with a special-use permit for a wedding, as how to rent a pavilion in a Berks County park explains.

As of 2026 the Berks venue fee for a small wedding runs from a few hundred dollars to about $5,500.
The Inn at Centre Park's price moves with the day, from $1,500 plus 6 percent sales tax on a non-Saturday to $5,500 for a full weekend, with food priced per person plus tax and a 20 percent service charge. If the contract says gratuity, that percentage is the staff's tip; if it says service charge, the money may go to the business, so ask. South Mountain's $5,000 micro package includes an officiant and two nights' lodging, with catering separate. Veñu charges by the day or the hour, $900 for a Friday or Sunday and $85 an hour on a weekday. what a Berks wedding costs, vendor by vendor breaks out the rest of the budget.

A rehearsal dinner averaged $2,700 for 2024 weddings, and $1,630 when the wedding itself had 50 or fewer guests. Per person, rehearsal dinners run about $55 to $150. Either the wedding venue includes the rehearsal dinner in its package, or you rent a restaurant's private room, an event space or a hall.
The Inn at Centre Park's full weekend includes a Friday rehearsal dinner for up to 30, and it rents the first floor for a non-wedding event at $500 on a non-Saturday or $750 on a Saturday. The South Mountain Inn's four-hour rental for gatherings of 30 or fewer is $750. Setter Ridge rents its tasting room after hours for $450 with a $250 beverage minimum and your own caterer.
Mimmo's Italian Restaurant in Reading starts its banquet menu at $35 a person with the private room included for a three-hour window. Christine's Creekside Inn in Birdsboro rents the restaurant for $300 on a day it's normally closed. C.J. Hummels in Lenhartsville sets a room minimum of $200 to $500 by room and day, plus a room fee of $3 a person; a room fee is a charge for the space on top of the food. C.J. Hummels and Setter Ridge are the ones on the Hamburg side of the county; Mimmo's and Christine's are in or near Reading, and the inns are in Reading, Wernersville and Barto.

The fees, minimums and deposits that decide the bill.
The venues that print a tax line add 6 percent sales tax to food and drink, and Christine's, C.J. Hummels and the Inn at Centre Park add a gratuity or service charge of 18 or 20 percent on top. Deposits run from a flat $100 or $500 to half the quote. Of the venues in the table, the Inn at Centre Park prints a minimum head count, 25, and Bally Spring's micro format starts at 25 guests.
Whether you may bring alcohol is the venue's call. The Inn at Centre Park is BYOB, meaning you buy the alcohol and the inn pours it, with a bar setup and service fee of $10 a person for everyone on the headcount. Veñu is bring-everything, and serving alcohol there requires liquor liability insurance, an insurance policy for serving alcohol, while the wineries pour their own wine.
