Plan the day
Please Touch Museum is a children's museum in Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia, PA. The museum says it is best for children from about six months through age 8, with a carousel on the main level.
It is a whole museum built for the under-8 set, with a daily program of storytimes, art and makerspace open studios, workshops, a noon singalong and an end-of-day parade on top of the exhibits, so a toddler and a second grader both get a full morning. Admission is one flat $24 for adults and children, and a 9 a.m. opening on most days means you can be there before nap time. PAW Patrol: Adventure Play runs October 7 to January 3.
Before you go
Reserve online before you go; the museum encourages reservations for everyone 12 months and older, though tickets are also sold at the Admissions desk. Strollers are allowed, with stroller parking outside the exhibits. You can bring your own food, even a cake, and eat in the designated eating areas.
