The Philadelphia Museum of Art is an art museum at the top of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, PA. It is open five days a week, with Friday evenings running until 8:45 PM.
The collection fills the building at the top of the Parkway: the Diego Rivera frescoes, the Chinese galleries, a ceremonial teahouse and a temple hall rebuilt inside, plus the European and early American galleries. This fall the Marcel Duchamp exhibition opens October 10, El Anatsui: Prints and Play follows on December 19, and A Nation of Artists runs through July 5, 2027.
Before you go
Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Fridays run late, with Friday Nights programming after 5 PM. Coat check and audio tours are offered, and bags are inspected at the entrance. Youth 18 and under enter free.
