Plan the day
Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm is a living history museum in Stroudsburg, PA, that preserves a Pennsylvania German farm of the 1800s.
Interpreters in period clothing work the homestead: spinning and weaving in the cabin, hearth cooking in the farmhouse, animals in the barn, and the bake oven on Saturdays. Harvest Festival on October 10 and 11 brings outdoor cooking demonstrations, and Old Time Christmas in December turns the farm candlelit, with a live Nativity in the barnyard, carols at the schoolhouse and a visit from the Belschnikel.
Before you go
Admission is paid at the gift shop. Summer discounts for AAA, seniors 62 and up, Blue Star military families and Time Traveler museum partners, one discount per visit. Old Time Christmas costs less bought in advance. Watch for the blue and white directional signs on Quiet Valley Road.
