About the event
Houston comedian Ali Siddiq brings The Custom Fit Tour to the Santander Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 5, 2027. The show starts at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:00 PM.
Siddiq is known for long form storytelling rather than quick setups and punchlines. His voice took shape during a period of incarceration, and that experience runs through much of his work, including his Domino Effect series on YouTube and the Comedy Central hour It's Bigger Than These Bars, which he taped in front of an audience of inmates at a Texas jail. Vulture has described him as stand-up comedy's most prolific storyteller.
Wider audiences found him through HBO's Def Comedy Jam, Live from Gotham, and his "Mexicans Got On Boots" set on This Is Not Happening, and he has since turned up on NBC's Bring the Funny and on podcasts including The Joe Rogan Experience, The Breakfast Club, and Club Shay Shay. Expect an evening of patient, detailed stories delivered in a downtown Reading theater built for exactly that kind of listening.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
