About the event
Bored Teachers brings its "Is It Friday Yet?!" Comedy Tour to the Santander Performing Arts Center in downtown Reading, with a lineup of stand-up comics who came up through the teaching profession. The group grew out of viral videos and a teacher comedy podcast, and the live show gathers several of its performers on one stage with fresh material.
The jokes come straight from school life: staff meetings that could have been emails, grading piles that never shrink, parent conferences, and the long countdown to the final bell of the week. The comics trade classroom stories and the kind of observations that get knowing nods from anyone who has worked in a building full of students.
You do not need a lesson plan to keep up. Teachers, aides, bus drivers, administrators, parents, and anyone who has simply sat through a school day will find plenty here, making it a good pick for a staff night out or a group of friends looking for an evening of comedy.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
