The Annie M. Gaul Concert Series welcomes the Heartland Marimba Ensemble to St. John's (Hain's) UCC in Wernersville for an afternoon built around one of the most inviting instruments in the percussion family. Expect warm tone, layered rhythms, and the kind of repertoire that shows how much range a marimba really covers.

The ensemble is part of Heartland Marimba, an organization devoted to the classical marimba through performance, education, community outreach, and the commissioning of new music. Its players regularly introduce audiences to pieces written specifically for marimba and percussion, so the program offers both familiar appeal and music you are unlikely to hear anywhere else nearby.

The concert series is an outreach ministry of St. John's (Hain's) UCC, created to bring quality live music within reach of the whole community. Past programs have included chamber music, classical guitar, handbells, jazz, and choral music. Concerts are free and open to everyone, supported by individual and corporate contributions along with free-will offerings gathered at the door.
