About the event
Berks County's arts community gets a chance to speak and be heard at this Arts Town Hall Listening Session at GoggleWorks. The Yocum Institute for Arts Education, working with the Reading Musical Foundation, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, and BCTV, is gathering artists, arts educators, creative professionals, and representatives of arts and cultural organizations for conversation about the needs and the future of creative life across the county.
The focus is on listening first. Participants are invited to share their own experiences, point out gaps and opportunities, and talk through what a connected and sustainable arts community could look like in the years ahead. Sessions run about 90 minutes and are kept small, with room for roughly 20 participants, so everyone at the table has time to contribute.
Whether you work in music, visual art, theater, teaching, or behind the scenes at an organization, your perspective belongs in this conversation. Arts organizations are asked to send one representative so that a wide range of disciplines and communities throughout Berks can be represented.
Hosted by GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on BerksConnect.
