About the event
Berks County artists, arts educators, creative professionals, and representatives of arts and cultural organizations are invited to GoggleWorks for an Arts Town Hall Listening Session. The Yocum Institute for Arts Education is hosting the series in partnership with the Reading Musical Foundation, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, and BCTV, bringing the conversation to locations across the county.
The focus is the needs and the future of the local creative community. Participants share their experiences, point to gaps and opportunities, and talk through what a strong, connected, and sustainable arts community could look like in the years ahead. Organizers plan on roughly 90 minutes of discussion, and the group is kept small so everyone at the table has room to contribute.
Whether you make work on your own, teach, lead a program, or volunteer behind the scenes, your perspective is part of the picture. The session takes place at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading.
