BEAT: Belew/Vai/Levin/Bozzio Performing the Music of KING CRIMSON
November 14, 2026 · 8:00 PM · 136 N 6th St

About the event
BEAT brings the music of King Crimson's 1980s era to the Santander Performing Arts Center. Adrian Belew and Tony Levin played on those records with the band, and here they are joined by guitarist Steve Vai and drummer Terry Bozzio, whose credits include work with Frank Zappa.
The evening draws on Discipline, Beat, and Three of a Perfect Pair, the albums that paired interlocking guitar patterns and Chapman Stick bass with a new wave edge. Rather than copying the original recordings note for note, the four musicians treat the songs as a starting point, leaning into the interplay and precision that made this catalog a touchstone for progressive rock listeners. Longtime fans and newcomers will find plenty to follow.
The stop is part of what the group is billing as its final North American tour. Doors open at 7:00 PM, an hour before the performance, leaving time to settle in and take in downtown Reading beforehand.
Hosted by Santander Performing Arts Center on BerksConnect.
