End-of-Year Artist Celebration: Two Gallery Receptions, One Night!
December 18, 2026 · 6:00 PM · GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St, Reading · All are welcome
About the event
GoggleWorks closes out the year by turning the spotlight on the people who fill its studios, classrooms, and galleries. This evening gathering in the Cohen and Schmidt Galleries opens two exhibitions at once and invites the public to meet the makers behind the work.
The Cohen Gallery hosts the Annual Studio Artist Exhibition, featuring pieces by the Studio Artists who create in the building every day and showing the range of mediums and ideas at work there. In the Schmidt Gallery, the Annual In-House Exhibition gathers art by GoggleWorks staff, instructors, studio renters, and select resident organizations, a look at the creative community that keeps the place running.
Artist talks are part of the night, so there are chances to hear directly about process and materials while you move between the two galleries. Come to browse, talk with artists, and mark a year of artmaking in downtown Reading.
Hosted by GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on BerksConnect.
