About the event

WhenOctober 25, 2026 · 11:00 AM
WhereReading Liederkranz, 143 Spook Lane, Reading

Reading Roller Derby hosts RDG Jam Fest at the Reading Liederkranz on Spook Lane, a full day of live local music, skating, and community fundraising. The stage lineup features The Great American Typewriter, Crashout, The Angies, Hometown Ghosts, and UNC Punk, with comedian Dana Charitonchick on hand as special guest emcee.

Between sets, the league puts on a roller derby demo with commentary from RDG Coach BoOm, giving newcomers an easy way to follow the action and pick up how the sport works. Vendors fill out the grounds, among them Inked Anatomy, a female owned and operated tattoo studio from Berks County offering flash tattoos, and Sage Rock Massage and Bodywork providing chair massages. There is also a derby merch sale, a basket raffle and 50/50, a dime toss, and a bake sale supporting the league.

This is an outdoor event held rain or shine, with free parking and indoor restrooms on site. Food and beverages are available from the Reading Liederkranz, so families can make an afternoon of it.
