Gallery Reception: Art of the Cup 2026
November 6, 2026 · 6:00 PM · GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St, Reading · Free admission, all are welcome
About the event
GoggleWorks Center for the Arts opens Art of the Cup 2026 with an evening reception in the Schmidt Gallery on the second floor. The exhibition gathers cups made by ceramic artists, celebrating the variety and the close, everyday intimacy of a vessel you hold in your hands. Each piece is one of a kind, and visitors have the chance to take one home.
The reception is a chance to meet participating artists, see the work up close, and talk with other people who care about contemporary craft. This year's exhibition is juried by the Art of the Cup Committee. Proceeds support the individual artists and help sustain GoggleWorks' community programs in Reading.
The show remains on view through December 6, so the reception doubles as a first look for anyone planning to return. GoggleWorks sits at 201 Washington Street in downtown Reading, with its galleries, studios, and shops under one roof.
Hosted by GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on BerksConnect.
